Thought those who where interested might like to know. At least I do. Because I will get to see it now!

Rolston goes through Reentry Waivers Unclaimed

Scratch that, it was posted on the front page.

Brian Rolston passes through re-entry waivers

Rolston still remains a Devil for the time being, meaning he could possibly return to the team or remain with Albany. UPDATE: Tom Gulitti mentions Rolston will return to the NHL team

Rolston Officially Put on Waivers

As of noon today, he's been placed on waivers and any team can claim him within the next 24 hours. Per Rich Chere, other teams are interested in him. He said he's willing to accept a trade, yet that can't be done now until (if) he clears waivers. That could be the next step for Lou if no team claims him. Keep up with Twitter (Rolston search) today for up to date umm updates.

At Least Rob Neids is getting somewhere

Either you can call it good or bad but it is interesting to say the least. Rob Neids is the Sabres top center on their 1st line. Could they possibly look into Arnott with Roy out for the season?

Islanders Trade James Wisniewski

Islanders receive 2nd (compensation from not signing first round pick 20th overall Jason fisher), so I believe it is the 20th pick in the second round and 5th round picks from Montreal for the Defense-men. A great deal for both parties involved. Montreal receives a solid defense men and the Islanders get a nice return on who the gave a third round pick to Ducks for during the off season. This does put the Islanders under the salary floor. Pure speculation but they are nicely set up to pick Rolston off of reentry waivers.

Rolston sent to Albany, will be placed on re-entry waivers

Put the pieces together: Lou calls up Zharkov after roster freeze, and now Rolston misses practice. Gulitti says he saw Lou coming down from practice, likely to talk about Rolston. He is either dumping him in the minors, which doesn't help his trade value if by any chance he could get moved, but it clears a roster spot, and maybe he'll put him on re-entry waivers. Either that or he did trade him?! He has been placed on re-entry waivers. Hopefully at least some of his cap hit will be removed.

Devils Call Up Vladimir Zharkov (finally)

Per Gulitti, no one was sent down to Albany, which means the Devils are practicing with 23 men today. I can't remember the last time the Devils had a full line-up. Here are the lines from the link for today's practice: "Forwards: Ilya Kovalchuk-Travis Zajac-Jamie LangenbrunnerDainius Zubrus; Patrik Elias-Jason Arnott-Jamie Langenbrunner; Brian Rolston-Tim Sestito-Mattias Tedenby; Vladimir Zharkov/Rod Pelley-Adam Mair-David Clarkson. Defensemen: Colin White-Henrik Tallinder, Andy Greene-Mark Fayne; Anssi Salmela-Anton Volchenkov; Matt Corrente-Mark Fraser. Goaltenders: Martin Brodeur, Johan Hedberg."

Snow game offer from Devils (For those unable to attend 12/26 game)

Editor's Note: For those wondering whether the Devils will have an offer for those unable to attend Sunday's game due to the blizzard, here it is. Thanks dasru. People (including me) were asking about this, so here it is. I have half season tickets, and my plan has all these games already, so I'm not sure what they are going to do in that case.
