Henriques Deflection Goal gives NJ the Lead

A slap shot from the point off of Andy Greene's stick deflected off of Tyler Kennedy then off of Adam Henrique to give the Devils an early 1-0 lead.

Devils win shutout, Schlemko with the GWG

Devil's win the Valentine matinee against the LA Kings 1-0. David Schlemko was credited the only goal of the day, while on the power play in the first period, Travis Zajac with the lone assist. Keith Kinkaid stopped all of LA's 28 shots to get the shutout victory. NJ is now riding a three game win streak heading into Tuesday's "80's themed:retro night" at the Rock against the Flyers. Devils win 2-1 in OT

Adam Henrique scores the PP game winner in overtime against the Flyers making the final, 2-1. Henrique's 19th goal of the season, assisted by Moore and Palmieri, was the Devils second power play goal of the game. Schneider picked up the third star of the game after an impressive 31 save performance. New Jersey has now picked up points in five of their last six games (3-1-2=8pts) and looks to continue the streak tomorrow afternoon against the LA Kings at home. (Video via NHL.com)

Blandisi scores, makes it 1-0

A pure "goal scores" goal, as Blandisi remains hot scoring the opening goal verus the Flyers. In front of the net, Blandisi seemed to go in between the legs with the puck to beat Flyers goaltender Neuvirth. Zajac is credited with the lone assist on Blandisi's fourth goal of the season. Devils win 2-1

Boucher's third period tally was the Devils second of the night and the game winner in their 2-1 victory over the Oilers. New Jersey plays next, in Philadelphia against the Flyers on Tuesday. Click the link above to watch Boucher's GWG via NHL gamecenter.

3-2 SO Final; Devils fall late to the Leafs (Link)

David Schlemko's early third period goal was not enough to hold off the Maple Leafs. Toranto's Tyler Bozak scored at the 17:54 mark which sent the game to overtime and eventual to a shoot out. The Devils were outshot 39-34 in the loss on top of blocking 29 shots. NJ is now 5-1-1 in their last 7 games (11pts) and is currently in a playoff spot. The next game is a matinee at the Rock this Saturday against the NHL point leading Washington Capitols. (Link to NHL game center)

Jacob Josefson scored his third goal of the season on to give the Devils an early lead. Schlemko and Zajac were credited with the assists.
