The Devils lost last night's game to Pittsburgh, but more significantly, they lost a few players to injury. [Star-Ledger]

Perhaps the most notable of those injuries was Jaromir Jagr's, which came on a TERRIBLE hit from Penguins defenseman Robert Bortuzzo. Here's the hit:

DeBoer was understandably unhappy about it, and gave us the quote of the year: "If one of our guys did that to (Penguins captain Sidney) Crosby there would be World War 4." [Fire and Ice] [Star-Ledger]
