Tonight is the night where Our Favorite Team will end three things in their 82-game season. Tonight is the second game of their final back-to-back set in the season. It is also the final time they are going to Canada and playing a Canadian-based team. May the night as be as fruitful as the other six times they have been up in the Great White North. Yes, Our Favorite Team can sweep Canada in Canadian home games tonight.

The Song of the Night: I’m not done yet with Phineas and you shouldn’t be either. The Fire Itself is just a fantastic album and anyone with any kind of interest of metalcore or just plain heavy music should indulge in the whole thing. The last Gamethread had an absolutely wonderful example from that album as to why the album is so great. Here is another: “In the Night.” The riffs are utterly fantastic from 31 seconds onward.
