2022-23 Gamethread #65: New Jersey Devils at Montreal Canadiens

The New Jersey Devils begin a weekend back-to-back in Quebec. They will visit the Montreal Canadiens and hopefully get some revenge for last Tuesday’s loss. Talk about the game as it happens here in this Gamethread.

Our Favorite Team is in Quebec. A place they won at earlier in the year. An opponent who beat them just last Tuesday. Do not expect anything easy in this league.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils at the Montreal Canadiens

The Song of the Night: As I get older, I sometimes feel I have to catchup with musical trends and developments. One of them is Hyperpop. As I understand it, one of the biggest groups in that genre is 100 gecs. They are, well, interesting as well as experimental. It may not be my entire cup of coffee, but I do like that it is out there. Albeit I’m late to the gecs world, a song like xXXi_wud_nvrstøp_ÜXXx is compelling. It is also from 2019’s 1000 gecs. They have a new album, 10,000 gecs, out later this year.
