The New Jersey Devils made some big additions during the free agent period, signing defeneman Dougie Hamilton, goaltender Jonathan Bernier, and winger Tomas Tatar to various deals. Hamilton is committed for seven more years while Bernier and Tatar get two year contracts to coincide with when their appropriate prospect replacements should be ready or at least acceptably close to it.
Beyond that, the Devils made changes for the Utica Comets and in the scouting department in New Jersey. The season draws ever closer and the Devils still have plenty of resources to work with to complement an already overhauled team.
And who will be joining this team as they crest into relevance? Ideally, some of our Top 25 Under 25 Prospects! If you haven’t voted, go ahead over to this post and do so. It’s as exciting as ever to think about the Devils’ future so make sure to vote and get a pulse on what your fellow Devils fans think.
