The Flyers were not in good shape coming into this series with the Devils, but they’re leaving a broken team. They’ve been officially eliminated from playoff contention and they are not happy about it.

Oh well!

Tonight is the last game in a row against them (we do play them one final time on May 10th), and it’s about more than just two useless points for two non-playoff teams. It's about bragging rights in my house and winning the bet for a new pair of shoes.

I mean, it's about the pride of winning as a team of course. Or something.

Yes, draft position, but that tank can start after we beat the Flyers and seal the season series in my favor. I mean, our favor. Go team!

The Lines To Win It All:

For the Devils:

Kuokkanen - Hughes - Sharangovitch
Zacha - Hischier - Bratt
Foote - Maltsev - Boqvist
Wood - McLeod - Bastian

Murray - Severson
Butcher - Carrick
Smith-Bahl

Blackwood

For the Flyers:

Giroux - Couturier - Voracek
Farabee - Hayes - Konecny
Van Riemsdyk - Laughton - Allison
Lindblom - Cates - Patrick

Provorov - Braun
Morin - Sanheim
Twarynski - Zamula

Elliot
