After a frustrating loss against the Philadelphia Flyers, the Devils took three out of four points between two matinee games against the Buffalo Sabres. We discuss the games and highlight some specific performances, in particular those of the fourth line of Bastian-McLeod-Wood and the first unit of Johnsson-Hughes-Bratt. There is a lot of optimism surrounding the team after the first nine games and rightfully so. There isn’t too much to gripe about but special teams continue to let the Devils down so we will see how they adjust those to match the pace of their 5-on-5 play.
We’ll have another episode for you on Friday to recap the upcoming games in Pittsburgh as our biweekly posting schedule begins. Thank you again for listening and let’s hope that we can all continue to really enjoy this Devils season so far.
