Welcome to November - and the OC. The first real road trip of the season is going through the state of California. This is the first stop. Also, welcome to ESPN+ exclusiveness. Two of the three games on this trip are among the eight games set to appear only on that platform this season.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils at the Anaheim Ducks (SBN Blog: Anaheim Calling)

The Song for the Evening: One of my favorite songs by Fu Manchu is “Thinking Out Loud” from their California Crossing album. The riff is perfect for the song. The confused lyrics set the vibe.

The Rules: The rules remain the rules regardless of the team now traveling through California.
