Coming into Tonight:

The Devils come into tonight’s game hot off a win against the Pittsburgh Penguins, who couldn’t hang in at the end against our injury-riddled lineup even with the return of Sidney Crosby and Jeff Carter to their bench.

Despite their record, the Blue Jackets are not looking like a good team this season. They are projected to be one of the worst teams in the league by most analytics experts, and their roster is bleak, with few exceptions. Their wins so far have come against the still winless Arizona Coyotes, the struggling Seattle Kraken and Dallas Stars, and somehow they scraped out a 2-1 win over the New York Islanders.

The Lines:

Columbus’s lines are expected to be similar to their roster last night against the Rangers, with the possible exception of defenseman Jake Bean:

Laine - Jenner - Voracek
Hofmann - Roslovic - Bjorkstrand
Nyqvist - Sillinger - Domi
Robinson - Kuraly - Texier

Werenski - Bean?
Gavrikov - Peeke
Carlsson - Harrington

Korpisalo

The Devils, based on last night’s lines:

Tatar - Hischier - Zacha
Bratt - Mercer - Johnsson
Vesey - McLeod - Sharangovitch
Kuokkanen - Gauthier - Studenic

Graves - Hamilton
Smith - Severson
Subban - Siegenthaler
