Happy Halloween. Our Favorite Team will get the privilege of playing a team that has given them a lot of problems for seemingly a long time on this evening. Especially from Oliver Bjorkstrand.

The Song for the Evening: German power metal legends Helloween have been active since 1984. However, two key members left the group on bad terms: singer Michael Kiske and guitarist Kai Hansen. Things were sorted out with Kiske in 1993. Founding member Michael Weikath went up to Hansen to reconcile at a festival in 2013, and so they did after decades of silence. This mattered as the two got to work with the full band in 2017 for a song called “Pumpkins United,” which reflected the current and classic times of the group. The single and collaboration went so well that it led to the self-titled album, Helloween, being recorded and released earlier this year to great success in Germany and among power metal fans around the world. As it is Halloween, this song seems wholly appropriate. It is also a long song because power metal/Helloween does not do “short.”
The Rules: The rules remain the rules regardless of the opponent being the source of nightmares for the Devils in recent years. Please keep your comments clean, legal (read: no illegal streams, no links to illegal streams, no asking for illegal streams, no illegal streams), and all about the games itself. Just as importantly, let’s respect each other. There’s no need for drama or being unwelcoming of your fellow Devils fan. This is a Gamethread, let’s focus on the game. Thank you for reading. Go Devils!
