For the first time in this shortened season, the New Jersey Devils will hit the road. They will visit the World’s Most Overrated Arena to play Our Hated Rivals, the New York Rangers. This post is a place where the Devils fans - the People Who Matter - can discuss the game as it happens.

Last week saw the return of the New Jersey Devils to the NHL. Tonight sees the return of the team’s largest rivalry. Tonight, we will remember why they are Our Hated Rivals.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. the New York Rangers (SBN Blog: Blueshirt Banter)

The Time: 7:00 PM ET

The Broadcasts: TV - MSG, MSG+; Digital Audio - The Devils Hockey Network (Radio.com)

The Song for the Evening: I have to follow my own site’s rules, so it’s not the best song of theirs I would use. But “Weightless” by Everybody Gets Hurt from their 2002 album The Dark Seeds of Man is a very good representation of their beefy sound.

The Rules: The rules remain the rules regardless of the return of the rivalry. Please keep your comments clean, legal (read: no streams, no links to streams, no asking for streams, no streams), and all about the games itself. Just as importantly, let’s respect each other.
