As Sports Illustrated’s Tom Verducci reports here, MLB appears to have found a solution for a major hurdle in returning to play: COVID-19 testing. Under a new plan, the league would partner with a lab to provide testing for its players and staff as well as expanded testing for the general public. Is this the path forward for the NHL too?
