This week we took it back to 1988 and the Devils’ first taste of playoff success. This game featured dominance by John MacLean, Pat Verbeek and Aaron Broten as New Jersey went into Washington and won Game 7. This Washington Capitals team is no joke and has several former and future Devils as this series finally got chippy right at the end and the Devils kept their underdog story alive.
Up next we have another record-setting night for Martin Brodeur as he earned his 48th win of the season against the hated Philadelphia Flyers in 2007:
Watch with us as Brodeur continues to accrue team and league accolades even when the Devils were not in their prime power.
As always, thanks for listening and if you have any specific games you’d like to see, let us know. We’re gonna try to switch our coverage range in the next few weeks so be sure to stay tuned for some off-the-cuff content.
Stay safe, everyone!
