Garden State of Hockey- Episode 69: Hitless Hockey and Numbers 21-25

No bodychecking in the OHL? Numbers 21-25 of our Top 25? This episode has it all plus a shoutout for Colton White.

First and foremost, the Devils re-signed Colton White to a two-way contract so he will get an opportunity to make the squad in training camp alongside the other young prospects. In Canada, the OHL initially proposed to start the season without hitting before that plan was questioned by public officials and hockey pundits. We’ll have to wait and see what the resolution is for the Devils prospects in the OHL in terms of start date and format of play.

Finally, the bottom five players of our Top 25 Under 25 were revealed and discussed at length by John back on Monday. We won’t reveal every name here, but this section is heavily skewed towards the young Devils playing and hailing from Europe.

We’ve got more list to reveal in the coming weeks as we await more Devils news. Keep an eye out and if there’s anything specific about the offseason you would like to hear us discuss, we would be happy to do so. It’s a bit of a doldrum time in the hockey world at the moment so any and all suggestions are welcome as we await the developing situation in the NHL and around the world.

Stay safe, everyone and Let’s Go Devils!
