Three New Jersey Devils Picks, One Night: The 2020 NHL Draft First Round Open Post

Welcome to the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The New Jersey Devils will have three picks in the first round. Will they use all of them? This is an open post for AAtJ readers to discuss what happens as it happens for New Jersey and others.

The Return to Play effort was successfully completed. While the offseason for the New Jersey Devils technically started back in March as they were not a part of the Return to Play effort, this is the week where the major offseason events will take place. First up is the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Tonight is the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft. The Devils own three picks in the first round: seventh, eighteenth, and twentieth overall. Who will they take? Will they use all three picks or will they move up or down? We will find out tonight.

The Time: 7:00 PM ET

The Broadcast: TV - NBC SN, SportsNet, TVA Sports.

The Location: N/A. It is a remote draft.

The AAtJ Mock Draft Picks: In our internal site mock draft, we decided on Marco Rossi at seventh overall, Noel Gunler at eighteenth overall, and Kaiden Guhle at twentieth overall.

The SB Nation Mock Draft Picks: In the network-wide mock draft, we selected Cole Perfetti at seventh overall, Rodion Amirov at eighteenth overall, and Jacob Perreault at twentieth overall.
