Gamethread #46: New Jersey Devils at Toronto Maple Leafs

Before they have a week off, the New Jersey Devils have a very difficult three-game road trip to go through. The first stop is against the Toronto Maple Leafs, a team that the Devils lost to in their last meeting thanks in part to themselves. This post is a place where fans can discuss the game as it happen.

Before Our Favorite Team gets a week off, they have a three-game road trip to go through first. It is a doozy in terms of difficulty. First up, a trip to Canada against an opponent the Devils defeated themselves against in their last match-up.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils at the Toronto Maple Leafs (SBN Blog: Pension Plan Puppets)

The Time: 7:00 PM ET

The Broadcasts: TV - MSG+, TVAS, SNO; Digital Audio - The Devils Hockey Network

The Song for the Evening: For no particular reason other than the riff is deliciously awesome and it is a classic tune by a classic band. From 1972’s Vol 4, this is “Supernaut” by Black Sabbath.

The Rules: The rules remain the rules regardless of the fact that the Devils are playing Canada’s Flyers. Please keep your comments clean, legal (read: no streams, no links to streams, no asking for streams, no streams), and all about the games itself. Just as importantly, let’s respect each other.
