2019 Prospects Challenge Gamethread #3: New Jersey Devils vs. Boston Bruins

Good morning. Today is the end of the 2019 Prospects Challenge for the New Jersey Devils. The end will happen before most people will take a lunch as New Jersey’s prospects will face Boston’s this morning. After this, it will not be long for training camp to begin in earnest. Next week starts the preseason.

The Time: 9:30 AM ET - This is not a typo.

The Broadcast: This is an online-only tourney. The Devils’ official website should have this on a stream.

The Tourney Preview: As this is pre-preseason, there will not be a game preview. Instead, I put together this preview for the entire 2019 Prospect Challenge. Check that out if you want to get caught up before the final day of action.

The Goal: No injuries and play well. Training camp and preseason games await so it is crucial for all involved to be able to participate in those events.

The Song of the Afternoon: Let’s keep it going with some more fusion. Chick Corea wanted to put a jazz-rock group together. In 1986, the Chick Corea Elektric Band released its self-titled debut. A video was made for song “Elektric City” and it is very much a video made in 1986. It is a fun song, all the same.
