The Last Game: The Devils beat the Rangers again, 4-2. The Devils goals were scored by Jack Hughes, Taylor Hall, Blake Coleman and Michael McLeod.
Some quick notes: The Hughes-Hall duo, although only in the preseason, is something to salivate over. Combine them with one of Palmieri, Bratt or Gusev, and the season looks a lot more optimistic.

Rangers Mason Geertsen just dropped the gloves in front of #NJDevils Wayne Simmonds.
Simmonds just skated away and it was perfect.
