Preseason Gamethread #5: New Jersey Devils vs. New York Islanders

The New Jersey Devils will play their final home preseason game this evening. They will host the New York Islanders. With a break in the schedule, expect cuts to follow. This Gamethread is a place for fans to discuss the game as it happens.

Sit down and enjoy the preseason game. There is no beef between the Devils and Isles.

Tonight is the final preseason game at the Prudential Center. The next home game will be the home opener for the 2019-20 regular season. And the next preseason game is next Wednesday in Boston. For many tonight, this will be their final game until if or when they get called up.
