A few new details filtering out about contract negotiations between Mitch Marner and the Leafs, including this tidbit: The Athletic reports that at one point in the negotiations, Marner’s camp apparently countered an offer from the Leafs by proposing a three-year “bridge” deal at around a $10 million AAV.
