Binghamton Devils’ 2019-’20 Schedule Released

Home opener slated for Oct 5th against the Utica Comets

The AHL released their schedule on Wednesday afternoon as we take a look as to what’s in store for the Binghamton Devils. The BDevils will be entering as the top affiliate of the New Jersey Devils for the third season in Binghamton, home of professional hockey since 1973

Under the 76 game schedule the usual rivals will be intact;

  • Rochester (10 total, 5 home-5 away)
  • Syracuse (10, 5-5)
  • Utica (8, 4-4)
  • Lehigh Valley (6, 3-3)
  • Belleville (6, 3-3)
  • Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (6, 3-3)
  • The following clubs will be 4 games (2-2); Charlotte, Cleveland, Hartford, Hershey, Laval and Toronto and 2 games (1-1) with Bridgeport, Providence and Springfield.
  • The season opener is slated at home on Saturday, Oct 5th when Binghamton takes on the Utica Comets

As expected, weekend games are heavy on the docket with 26 Friday night contests and 25 on Saturday.

Last year for the very first time a Mid-West connection was made in the form of a four game set with the Cleveland Monsters and was renewed once again.

During the last two years the BDevils record stands at 152 games, 53-79-0-16-4 for a 0.414%. During their first year under then coach Rick Kowalsky home and away records for the BDevils were 13-19-4-2 and 12-19-5-2 respectively.

Last season at home, the Devils held a steady 17-17-4-0 record, but on the road a different story going 11-24-3-0 under current Devils’ head coach Mark Dennehy.

BDevils close out the season on Saturday, Apr 11 at home vs Rochester.
