Tonight is the first round of the 2019 NHL Draft. The New Jersey Devils have been on the clock since winning the 2019 NHL Draft Lottery, where they were awarded the first overall pick. Jack Hughes is expected to be the guy. Will tonight be his confirmation? Or will someone else take the top spot? And where will everyone else go in the first round? All this and more will be answered this evening.

The Conensus from Other Mock Drafts: While there may have been some others come out this week, it has been unanimous among the many mock drafts I have reviewed for this year’s roundup: Jack Hughes will be first and Kaapo Kakko will be second.
A Song for the Night: The first overall pick will be chosen tonight; and he hopefully will be the one to help New Jersey move on, move up, and move ahead to where they want to be.
