This is the penultimate game of the 2018-19 season. This is the last game within the Metropolitan Division this season. This is not the last road game. We’re almost done.
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils at the Carolina Hurricanes (SBN Blog: Canes Country)
The Time: 7:00 PM ET
The Broadcast: TV - MSG; Digital Audio - The “Devils Hockey Network.” A.K.A. Go to Radio.com or NHL.com for an audio feed.
The Song for the Night: Bob Dylan (also known as Columbia Recording Artist) is a musical legend that has done a lot of odd things such as earning a Nobel Prize and nearly didn’t even claim it. Or write a song about Lenny Bruce and when asked why he did, he responded, “You know, I have no idea!” Or releasing Self Portrait, which includes among other clunkers, a cover of “The Boxer” which is a duet only for Bob to not fully sync his own vocals. Anyway. For years, I avoided Bob; however, my Most Beloved Reader loves Bob. So here is some Bob. From the critically acclaimed The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan - a wholly appropriate adjective for Bob - this is “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.” In true Bob fashion, it seems like a love song but it isn’t one at all.
The Rules: The rules remain the rules even though I could have picked something else from this instead of the other forty-plus releases Dylan had, not including all of those bootlegs, compilations, singles, and live releases. Please keep your comments clean, legal (read: no streams, no links to streams, no asking for streams, no streams), and all about the games itself. Just as importantly, let’s respect each other. There’s no need for drama or being unwelcoming of your fellow Devils fan. This is a Gamethread, let’s focus on the game.Thank you for reading. Go Devils!
