Our good friend Jack Hughes had two points as Team USA beat Team Latvia 7-1 on Tuesday. He’s still pretty good. [NHL]
Assuming there are no scoring changes, Jack Hughes now has the second-most points by an American in U18 world championships history. He passed Clayton Keller. Phil Kessel's record is two points away.— Corey Masisak (@cmasisak22) April 23, 2019

And then, we got a THE GAME. Down 3-0 in the third period to the Golden Knights, the Sharks were awarded a five-minute power play. They scored four goals on that penalty. Vegas would score to tie it up and get it overtime, but San Jose came away with the win. What a game. [Sportsnet]
Here’s the play that gave the Sharks a five-minute power play. Was the call justified? An overreaction?
