Tonight is Fan Appreciation Night. I am a fan. What I would appreciate most is a rare win in the second-half of a back-to-back set this season. This is the last one, after all.
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. the St. Louis Blues (SBN Blog: St. Louis Game Time)
The Time: 7:00 PM ET
The Broadcast: TV - MSG+; Digital Audio - The “Devils Hockey Network.” A.K.A. Go to Radio.com or NHL.com for an audio feed.
The Song for the Night: Tonight is effectively a “Thank you” to the fans from the Devils. To that end, this is “Gratitude” by Danny Elfman. This was on Elfman’s 1984 solo album So-Lo, which was effectively an Oingo Boingo album but released under Elfman’s name due to a label dispute at the time. The song was also a part of the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack. The linked version is performed by Elfman’s band Oingo Boingo from their Boingo Alive double album where the band performed the songs live but on a soundstage instead of at an actual concert.
The Rules: The rules remain the rules even though why this thing is in the middle of a big tornado. Please keep your comments clean, legal (read: no streams, no links to streams, no asking for streams, no streams), and all about the games itself. Just as importantly, let’s respect each other. There’s no need for drama or being unwelcoming of your fellow Devils fan. This is a Gamethread, let’s focus on the game.Thank you for reading. Go Devils!
