Hughes versus Hughes! Jack vs. Quinn! Part two! The end of the road trip! A non-late night for the fans on the East Coast! Get hyped! Or not, whatever.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils at the Vancouver Canucks (SBN Blog: Nucks Misconduct)

The Time: 4:00 PM ET

The Broadcasts: TV - MSG+; Digital - ESPN+; Digital Audio - The Devils Hockey Network.

The Song for the Afternoon: After Andy Kerr left NoMeansNo, the Wright brothers went back to being a duo for their 1993 album Why Do They Call Me Mr. Happy?. It is a dark album with heavier sounds compared to their other releases. It is also a long album with only three songs under five minutes and one of those three is a bridge (literally “Happy Bridge”, which leads into “Kill Everyone Now,” so it’s not that happy). This is one of the other ones and it is the one that leads into the one called “Happy Bridge.” This is the upbeat-sounding “Madness and Death.” Yes, the song called “Madness and Death” is upbeat on this album. Check it out anyway.

The Rules: The rules remain the rules even the Devils are ending their road trip today as the brothers Hughes face off against one another again. Please keep your comments clean, legal (read: no streams, no links to streams, no asking for streams, no streams), and all about the games itself. Just as importantly, let’s respect each other. There’s no need for drama or being unwelcoming of your fellow Devils fan. This is a gamethread, let’s focus on the game. Thank you for reading. Go Devils!
