Garden State of Hockey- AAtJ Podcast Episode 13: Oops, They Blew it Again

It really is amazing how despite only having one game and one significant injury this week, the New Jersey Devils found a way to make everyone upset. John wrote a recap of the wasted Jack Hughes performance against Arizona and also, as we did in the podcast, highlighted some of the ways that our star player and former MVP, Taylor Hall, needs to raise his game.

In other news that has Devils twitter atwitter is as the news dropped that Nikita Gusev would be watching Wednesday’s game against Tampa Bay from the press box. Abbey Mastracco wrote a piece shedding some light on why this decision was made (read the thing before you get upset, people) and how sitting with Patrik Elias may help Gusev find the defensive side of his game.

Let’s hope for the best. We would love to be cheery and fun leading into the western Canadian road trip.
