Nearly a week after the last one, which was a win, Our Favorite Team will actually play a game today. And it is a favorable matchup in theory since the opposition played last night.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. the Arizona Coyotes (SBN Blog: Five for Howling)

The Time: 7:00 PM ET

The Broadcasts: TV - MSG+; Digital Audio - The Devils Hockey Network.

The Song for the Night: You’ve had to wait a long time for a Devils game. Why not have a long song by a prog-rock band from New Jersey for the song of the night? From their 2019 album Terraformer, this is an eight-minute song inspired by the X-Files called “FXMLDR” by Thank You Scientist.

The Rules: The rules remain the rules even when it has been nearly a week between games.
