Returning home from an utterly disappointing road trip, the New Jersey Devils hope to bounce back in tonight’s contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The last time these teams met was back on December 18th, and the game was virtually over after the first 14 minutes, with Toronto posting a 7-2 victory by game’s end. The bright spot of that game would be that MacKenzie Blackwood saw his first action in New Jersey, even though it was not his best work.
Jersey’s Team will look to avenge that previous loss tonight (as well as an earlier 6-1 loss this season) against a Maple Leafs team that lost 4-0 at home to Nashville on Monday night. Toronto is expected to still be without Frederik Andersen tonight, so the Devils will not be seeing the Leafs’ #1. As for the Devils, they will again be without Taylor Hall, Marcus Johansson and MacKenzie Blackwood’s as New Jersey attempts to avoid being swept in the season series.

The Time: 7:00 PM ET
The Broadcast: TV - MSG+; Digital Audio - The “Devils Hockey Network.” Head over to Radio.com or NHL.com for an audio feed.
The Song for the Night: From their most recent album “Palms” tonight’s song is “The Dark” by California alt-rock band Thrice. The Devils have been out of sight and out of mind for most teams for a good portion of the season. They need to emerge from the darkness that is their road record and start finding some success, if not this season, then certainly for next season.
The Rules: The usual set of rules remains in effect before, during and after the game. Please keep the comments clean, legal (read: no streams, no links to streams, no asking for streams, nothing even related to streams), and about the game itself. Make sure to remain respectful to your fellow posters even if you disagree with them. There’s no need for drama or being unwelcoming of your fellow Devils fans.Thank you for reading. Let’s go Devils!
