The Time: 7:00 PM EST

The Broadcast: MSG, MSG+

Part three of the preseason starts now, with the Devils looking to see which players can make the cut for the team.

Recent Cuts: 5 players were cut from the training camp roster. As is expected at such an early point in the season, none of them were surprises. Recent draft picks Mitchell Hoelscher and Xavier Bernard were sent to the juniors, while Ryan Schmelzer and Tariq Hammond were reassigned to the AHL. Colton Phinney was cut from his PTO. Hoelscher and Bernard were unsigned draft picks, while Schmelzer and Hammond were only on AHL contracts. Phinney was in camp purely as an extra body.

The Lineup: As of 10:17 PM, absolutely nothing has been revealed.

More information will be posted as is announced.

However, it was reported that Nick Lappin was skating on the right side with Hall and Hischier. It was also reported that Michael McLeod was playing on a line with Brett Seney and Blake Coleman.

Your Thoughts: With so little information revealed as of this writing, it’s hard to have thoughts as of now. However, feel free to start a discussion anywhere in the comments if y’all feel like it. Take care, and have a great day!
