Eric Tangradi has played 144 NHL games but a mere 15 points in nine seasons for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Winnipeg Jets, Montreal Canadiens and most recently the Detroit Red Wings. In his three years with Detroit he only played one NHL game and spent most of his time in the AHL with the Grand Rapids Griffins, scoring 164 points in 146 games, winning the Western Conference title and Calder Cup in 2016-17.
Tangradi’s best NHL years came in Winninpeg, the winger scored 22 points in 36 games and 21 points in 55 games in 2012-13 and 2013-14 respectively. Here’s to hoping he has a career year if given significant time in the NHL this coming season.
