Good news: Oilers GM Peter Chiarelli (you might remember him from such trades as: Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson) will be back with his team next season! If I’m Ray Shero, I’m checking to see what the cost is on one Connor McDavid, just to be safe. [ESPN]

The league has suspended Kings defenseman Drew Doughty for a hit in Game 1 of the Kings-Golden Knights series. [ESPN]
