The Most Challenging Road Trip now enters California with a nasty back-to-back. First, the team in the big city. At least it’s a matinee.

The Song for Today: Adebisi Shank’s first album, This Is the Album of a Band Called Adebisi Shank, has an absolutely appropriate opening track. It’s called “You Me” and it just opens with this heavy, fuzzy bass sound. It lets up to hit you with this crazy riff. When I first heard it, I was immediately hooked on their sound. May it do the same for you. May the Devils play like it today and come out hard and fast right away.

The Rules: The rules remain the rules even as this nightmarish road trip continues.
