Michael McLeod had a busy but not so productive week for Mississauga. He finished with an assist, -6, 4 PIM, 12 shots, and won 63.49% of his faceoffs across 4 games.
Marian Studenic had a goal, assist, -3, 2 PIM, and 6 shots in 3 games for Hamilton last week. The goal and assist came against Sudbury on Saturday and snapped a 5 game point drought and 9 game goal drought.
Evan Cormier continued to play a gigantic role for Saginaw with 4 games and 3 starts last week. On Wednesday he made 37 saves on 42 shots as Saginaw defeated the best team in the OHL, Sault Ste. Marie. On Friday he made 28 saves on 30 shots in a loss to Sarnia. The following night he had 29 saves on 32 shots in a victory over Flint. Yesterday, he made 23 saves on 26 shots in a 48 minute relief appearance against Sarnia.

Jesper Boqvist was a +1 with 2 shots in 17:27 in Brynas IF’s only game of last week.
Fabian Zetterlund made news this week when he joined Allsvenskan side Timra IK on loan from Farjestad BK of the SHL. This is an intriguing move as he joins a second division team deep in a promotion push to get to the SHL next season. He’s already been able to step into a top line role for his new club. Zetterlund had an assist, -1, and 5 shots in 18:46 during his debut against AIK on Thursday. On Saturday he had an even rating, 2 shots, and played 13:36 against Sodertalje.
Aarne Talvitie had 3 goals and 2 assists in the U20 Five Nations Tournament in the Czech Republic.
Gilles Senn didn’t have any game action last week.
