The Devils snagged a pair of wins this weekend behind two outstanding performances in net by Eddie Lack and Keith Kinkaid.

It began with a 4-3 win over one of the league’s most prolific offenses, owned by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tampa Bay made Eddie Lack earn his first win as a Devil, as he made 48 (!) saves. [Fire and Ice] [NJ.com]

It’s hard to overstate how great of a season Taylor Hall is having. He delivered in the clutch again on Sunday, as the Devils somehow scraped together a 3-2 overtime win against the Hurricanes. [Fire and Ice] [NJ.com]

It’s truly been a turnaround season:

On Sunday, it was announced that Miles Wood would be suspended two games for a dumb, reckless hit on Lightning forward Vladislav Namestnikov.

In a vacuum, it seems like a good ruling. In context, it’s hard not to wonder how Brad Marchand, a guy with a lengthy suspension history, only received a five-game suspension for his elbow to Marcus Johansson’s head last month. The Wheel of Justice spins on...

Flyers goaltender Michal Neuvirth was injured in his team’s game against the Rangers on Sunday. With goalie Brian Elliott already down with an injury, the Flyers could be looking to the trade market for a goalie if Neuvirth misses some time. [Philly.com]
