There was some confusion Sunday as to whether Dave Hakstol had been fired as Flyers coach, to be replaced by Joel Quenneville. It appears that Hakstol is still the coach, but an announcement about the firing is expected soon:
I'm hearing the announcement on Hakstol's firing is coming in the next 24 hours, although an announcement on a new coach might be delayed (Quenneville is the target), meaning an interim coach for Tues., at least, is likely.
