The Panthers put goaltender Roberto Luongo on injured reserve after he suffered a right knee injury in his team’s opening game. It’s unclear how serious the injury is. [TSN]

And the Kings have placed goalie Jonathan Quick on injured reserve after sustaining a lower-body injury in practice. [TSN]
