Gamethread #6: New Jersey Devils at Philadelphia Flyers

While the first game was in Sweden, today is the first actual road game in 2018-19 for the Team that Matters. They will visit the Second Rate Rivals in what is always a notable game.

The Song for the Day: The biggest buzz Philly has going for it is a mascot. A lazy big fat fuzzball of a Youppi! ripoff that presumably wasted a lot of corporate money to come up with that. With respect to that, this is “Ugly in the Morning” by Faith No More from the album King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime.

The Rules: The rules remain the rules even when the game is on a Sunday afternoon and you’re getting Mike Patton’s most famous group hitting your auditory senses.
