The Song for the Day: The Bay Area has a long history of thrash. The East Coast was no slouch and New Jersey’s representative is the long-standing, loud, and heavy Overkill. They never stopped but their last four albums have been standouts and the last three even charted. The first of those three was 2012’s The Electric Age. The opening track is a strong thrash song with a good intro and a fun chorus, “Come and Get It.”

The Rules: The rules remain the rules even when the game is on a Sunday afternoon and you’re rocking out to Overkill.
