Preseason Gamethread #6: New Jersey Devils at SC Bern

Bern, Switzerland is the place where the preseason will end for the New Jersey Devils. In Nico Hischier’s (and Mirco Mueller’s) return to their country, they will play SC Bern. After this, all of the games will count. This post is a place where fans can discuss the game as it happens.

Nico Hischier (and Mirco Mueller) returns to Switzerland to play hockey - and for the New Jersey Devils. This is the final preseason game for the Devils. After this, the games all count.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils at SC Bern

The Time: 1:30 PM ET

The Broadcast: TV - MSG+; NHL Network

The Song for the Day: Breakdown of Sanity is one of the best bands to ever come out of Bern, Switzerland. True to their name sake, they are definitely a metalcore group to check out if you want some serious breakdowns. From their 2011 album [Mirrors], this is “Infest.” It has a sweet guitar solo. It has some harmonies. It has a false ending before going back to crushing it. But it has at least four sections in it that are will move you if you have even the faintest interest in heavy music. Yes, it can.
