The Matchup: New Jersey Devils (22-11-7) at the New York Islanders (20-18-4)
The Time: 1:00 PM
The Broadcast: TV - MSG+
Zajac Update: Travis Zajac took a shot to the helmet near the end of last game against the Stars. He left the game and did not return. Zajac passed the concussion protocol and is expected to play tonight.
Who Sits?: The benching of Damon Severson has continued to be somewhat controversial. After Sami Vatanen had a terrible game in Dallas, I personally expect Severson back in the lineup tonight. In practice yesterday, Severson and Vatanen rotated next to John Moore. We’ll see who gets the start tonight.
Other Notes: Cory Schneider will get the start tonight.
Your Thoughts: With the Islanders in a bit of a skid, is this the place the Devils get back on track? Who should sit tonight? Will accountability exist after this game? Leave your thoughts below in the comments.
