The Devils gained one point out of the back-to-back set this weekend. That point came out of a 4-3 overtime loss to the Sabres on Friday. Over the weekend the Devils traded defenseman Dalton Prout to the Flames for goaltender Eddie Lack. Lack heads to the AHL, where the B-Devils can obviously use all the help they can get at the moment (Ken Appleby and Mackenzie Blackwood currently lighting the world on fire with a combined .877 SV% and a 3.52 GAA this season). Lack previously worked with Devils goalie coach Roland Melanson in the Canucks organization. [NHL]
