The hiring of a new in-house reporter for the New Jersey Devils was announced today. Amanda Stein of Montreal’s TSN690 radio station. Amanda has spent seven years with the station doing an excellent job covering the Montreal Canadiens and anchoring on Sportscentre. Amanda broke the news on her twitter account and will start working for the Devils on September 1st.
For those following coverage of the Devils recent development camp you would have noticed Amanda taking a break from Montreal to report on the Devils prospects and she did a great job, whilst also making a strong impression on Devils fans.
Can we just keep you in NJ? You're a perfect fit for the Devils.

Now she’s in Newark full-time Devils fans can expect a high level of coverage from Amanda. She's got a lot of hockey knowledge and is a good personality to have covering the team. I’ve followed Amanda on twitter since she appeared on Nerdist’s Puck Soup podcast. I am extremely pleased that she’ll be covering the Devils as well as she has covered the Canadiens.
She has nice hand writing.....
