On this week’s episode of Talking Red, David Sarch had me on to talk about the Devils rough weekend of losses to the Blue Jackets and Rangers. We discussed how losing both ends of a back-to-back is a terrible feeling but opted to take a step back and preach a little patience, given that this is the first time the team has lost two games in a row in regulation. We also talked about Sami Vatanen and the somewhat curious way the team has chosen to deploy him so far, the Devils anemic-of-late power play, and the possibility of splitting up the Hall-Hischier-Bratt line to spread the wealth.
