This was not the best weekend in New Jersey Devils history, not by a long shot. It began with a blown 2-0 lead to the Blue Jackets. That game ended in a 5-3 loss on Friday night. [The Record] []

The Islanders are looking to build a new arena at Belmont Park. Their plans for the areas also include a hotel, a retail village and an entertainment plaza, according to the New York Post. [Sportsnet]
