Merrimack and Boston College squared off for a home and home set last weekend, with BC winning both games. Brett Seney had an assist, even rating, 8 PIM, and 3 shots for Merrimack in the series. JD Dudek had a goal, +1, and 4 shots for Boston College. Dudek's goal (embedded below) ended up being the game winning goal on Friday and earned him praise from SBN College Hockey's Joshua Kummins and BC head coach Jerry York:

Dudek is one player York expected to make a jump in replacing the likes of Ryan Fitzgerald, Colin White, and Austin Cangelosi, and a season of trials and tribulations slowed his production down to just a goal and two assists through the first seven games.

It was a play that showed his all-around tools and a responsible game.

“JD has been hurt most of the year,” York said. “He’s been banged up in a lot of different areas, but he fought through those different aches, pains, and sprains. Just about anything you can have, he has. He got a huge goal tonight, a real goal scorer’s goal.”

Joey Anderson missed both of Minnesota Duluth's games against St. Cloud State last weekend due to an upper body injury.

Jeremy Davies saw his 4 game point streak come to an end on Saturday against Boston University though he was a +1 with 2 PIM and 3 shots.

Reilly Walsh continues to be a threat on the PP for Harvard. The offensively skilled defenseman put up 2 PP goals, a PP assist, -1, 4 PIM, and 5 shots in 2 games for Harvard last week.

Matt Hellickson had an assist, +2, 2 shots, and 4 blocks in 2 games for Notre Dame against Ohio State over the weekend. You can catch him in action on NBCSN this Saturday when Notre Dame takes on Penn State at 7 PM ET.
