Hot Starts: Both the New Jersey Devils and Vancouver Canucks had extremely productive months of October. That strong month of games has allowed the Devils to maintain first place, and the Canucks third, in their respective divisions. Vancouver is a largely different team than the one who finished in last place in the Pacific a year ago. The Sedin twins have been relegated to third line minutes, and names like Brock Boeser and Anders Nilsson are the stars now.
Lineups: Though nothing is official yet, and likely won’t be until 2:45 PM EST, John Hynes may move Brian Boyle, who practiced yesterday, into the lineup for tonight’s game.
