Welcome to the week of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. David Sarch will be in Buffalo to witness the New Jersey Devils making their eleventh overall selection and hoping they don't take a goaltender in any other round. I will be home, watching it on TV, being on this site, and also hoping they don't take a goaltender in any other round. We decided to talk about this upcoming draft in a new episode of the Devils podcast, Talking Red. We also discussed the team's recent trade for Marc Savard's expiring contract and their salary cap situation with respect to reaching the floor.
