Albany had another successful week, winning both of their games and extending their winning streak to 5 games. Albany is 2nd in the North Division with 69 points in 51 games. They have an all situation PDO of 101.03% on the season and a 5 game average of 105.16% during this winning streak. Albany's 20.57 PP% ranks 4th in the AHL while their 88.38 PK% is still the best.

Injury Update: Blake Coleman remains out after left shoulder surgery. As the Times Union reported last week, Scott Wedgewood may need season ending surgery on his right shoulder. Vojtech Mozik and Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond missed both games last week but it's not clear if they were being rested or if it was injury related. Rod Pelley and Marc-Andre Gragnani returned to the line up after dealing with upper body injuries.

Transactions: Joe Faust and Ben Johnson were briefly returned to Adirondack on 2/16 for a game before being returned to Albany on 2/17.

Saturday 2/20: Albany defeated Utica 3-2 in OT. Dan Kelly and Mike Sislo had the goals in regulation while Matt Lorito had the game winning goal in OT. Jim O'Brien, Ryan Kujawinski, Paul Thompson, Marc-Andre Gragnani, and Reece Scarlett had an assist each. Thompson had 8 shots followed by Sislo with 5 as the Devils outshot the Comets 34-23. Joe Faust and Ben Johnson spent most of the week with Albany. They did appear in Adiorndack's 4-0 loss to Wheeling on Tuesday where Faust was a -2, with 2 PIM, and a shot while Johnson was a -2 with 2 shots.

Prospect of the Week

I'll have to give this week's honors to Brett Seney again after he posted back-to-back 1 goal, 1 assist games against Maine on the weekend. As mentioned earlier, he is on a 6 game point streak with 2 goals and 10 assists and has been Merrimack's offensive leader with his awesome skating and offensive instincts.

ADevil of the Week

Mike Sislo picks up this week's honors after scoring 2 goals and adding an assist over the course of 2 games for Albany on the weekend. He has extended his point streak to 7 games with 8 goals and 3 assists during that stretch. Sislo currently leads the AHL in goals (25) and is 6th in points (45). Sislo also leads Albany in Goals Created (18.86) and Goals Created per Game (0.39).
